is a permanent method of structurally repairing damaged or leaking drains, quickly and efficiently, with no need to excavate. It is particularly useful where tree roots are a problem, as it is impervious to root ingress due to the liner being completely joint-less. A form of CIPP (Cured In Place Pipe) liner, the product is basically a polyester needle felt tube, backed with polyurethane, that is impregnated with a specialist resin and then inserted (deflated) into the damaged pipe. The liner is then inflated using air or water, and allowed to cure to form a new thin-walled but extremely tough new pipe within the old. This type of liner is used throughout the world for sewer and drain repairs, providing a high quality repair with an expected life of over 50 years. |
